Employment type: Full Time

Shift: Days, Weekends

Hours per week: 40 hour week

Hiring Range: $37.04/hr. - $49.54/hr.

Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
• Weekday night shift - additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
• Weekend day shift - additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists in a variety of imaging procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, and patient data/history).
• Assists in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and any other areas in department. • Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Training, & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound. Minimum of two years practical experience as an echo-sonographer preferred.

Certifications/Licensure:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI (Cardiovascular credentialing international) within 12-24 months.
