Ecom/content personal assistant

About the role

We are looking for a creative, energetic and highly organised Personal Assistant to work directly with the business owner and help grow our e-commerce distribution and content presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands social media, stays on top of trends, has a strong creative eye and knows how to turn everyday business activities into engaging content. You will be involved in filming, editing, content planning, social media management and supporting our e-commerce distribution activities. From capturing fresh seafood arrivals and behind-the-scenes operations to creating promotional content and helping coordinate product distribution, no two days will necessarily be the same.

Key responsibilities

• Film and photograph daily business activities, seafood arrivals, products and behind-the-scenes operations.
• Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms.
• Edit videos using CapCut or similar editing software.
• Identify current trends, content opportunities, popular formats and creative ways to promote our business.
• Develop content ideas, captions, promotional materials and simple content calendars.
• Help build our brand through authentic storytelling and consistent content production.
• Assist with product listings, product photos, catalogues and promotional content.
• Help coordinate product information, availability, pricing updates and distribution-related communications.
• Work directly with the business owner to organise daily priorities, meetings and projects.
• Travel to different operational locations when required to film content and support business activities.

About you

• Creative, proactive and naturally interested in social media and digital content.
• Up to date with social media trends, editing styles and online marketing.
• Comfortable filming on a phone or camera and creating content on the go.
• Able to edit short-form videos using CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere or similar software.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident communicating with different people and working directly with the business owner.
• Flexible and comfortable in a hands-on environment rather than a traditional office-only role.
• Willing to learn about seafood products, e-commerce and distribution operations.
