What they need

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, digitally-savvy and detail-driven eCommerce Content Editor to join our high-performing online team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for writing and publishing clear, accurate and persuasive product content that helps customers make confident purchase decisions. You’ll ensure every product published online includes correct information, strong brand-aligned copy and the right imagery, while supporting our wider eCommerce trading and promotional activity.

As part of our collaborative eCommerce function, you’ll work closely with Brands, Marketing, Buyers and Brand Managers to publish compelling content and maintain best-in-class digital presentation across the website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing, editing and publishing website content including campaign messaging, promotional copy, category introductions and online editorial content
  • Creating accurate, engaging and brand-aligned product descriptions, ensuring all information is correct, complete and optimised for search and conversion
  • Overseeing the end-to-end publishing process, including QA checking before go-live
  • Maintaining the product, content and image publishing workflow in SAP (or similar product information systems), ensuring products are live and trading correctly
  • Managing and actioning requests from our buying or customer service team, ensuring timely updates and clear communication with internal stakeholders
  • Building, maintaining and refreshing landing pages and key category pages in line with trading priorities and seasonal campaigns
  • Auditing online presentation and proactively updating product information, pricing accuracy, imagery, categorisation and navigation where required
  • Running weekly reporting to identify issues, gaps or opportunities relating to content accuracy, publishing status, SEO performance and category presentation
  • Supporting ongoing SEO optimisation including keyword placement, metadata and internal linking for products.
  • Partnering with Buyers, Brand Managers and Marketing to ensure product content supports trading objectives
  • Assisting other Content Editors with workload balancing, troubleshooting, workflow coordination and publishing support where required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience writing, editing and publishing digital content for an eCommerce website or content-heavy online channel would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise product and promotional copy with attention to accuracy, brand tone and commercial intent
  • Experience managing content through publishing systems (SAP experience advantageous but not necessary)
  • High attention to detail with a strong editorial eye for accuracy, formatting and data integrity
  • Comfortable running reports, checking product status and using data to prioritise publishing decisions
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to support and guide junior editors when required

What can we offer you?

  • The opportunity to thrive within a large, dynamic business with a focus on growth and innovation.
  • A diverse and exciting role that offers both personal and professional development.
  • Attractive staff discount package across Farmers and the James Pascoe Group.
