What they need
If you’re an ecommerce specialist who knows Shopify inside out and wants more ownership, this newly created role gives you the chance to take control of day-to-day ecommerce performance across multiple websites. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative in-house team where you can broaden your skills, influence results and continue progressing your career.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of multiple ecommerce websites and third-party platforms. Shopify sits at the centre of the role, covering everything from product loading, merchandising and theme updates through to troubleshooting, customer experience and website performance.
This is much more than a website administration role. You’ll work across ecommerce analytics, CRM and email, SEO, CRO, UX, stock management and commercial performance, using data to identify opportunities and continually improve traffic, conversion and revenue.
- Manage Shopify websites, product content, merchandising and site updates
- Monitor website health, troubleshoot issues and optimise customer journeys
- Track ecommerce KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Manage CRM, email journeys, segmentation and lead-generation opportunities
- Support SEO, CRO, UX, stock management and seasonal website activity
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You’ll bring solid hands-on ecommerce experience and be confident managing Shopify websites independently. You understand how the different parts of ecommerce connect, from site experience and merchandising through to analytics, CRM and digital marketing.
You’re highly organised, commercially minded and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising execution. You enjoy working collaboratively but are equally comfortable taking ownership and solving problems yourself.
- 3+ years of hands-on ecommerce experience
- Advanced Shopify skills, including themes, integrations and site management
- Experience with GA4, Shopify Analytics and ecommerce performance reporting
- Knowledge of SEO, CRO, email/CRM and digital marketing channels
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills
