eCommerce Specialist

Auckland | Fixed-Term Contract
Are you passionate about eCommerce, digital marketing, and creating exceptional online customer experiences?

We're looking for an experienced eCommerce Specialist to join our Digital team on a **Fixed Term (maternity leave cover)**contract until end of December 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving online sales performance, enhancing the customer journey, and supporting a variety of digital initiatives and projects.

What You'll Do
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you'll be the go-to person for all things eCommerce. Working closely with Digital Marketing, Operations, IT, and Internal & External stakeholders this is a multi faceted role. With responsibility managing both backend and frontend ecommerce activity, you will drive platform performance, support digital marketing initiatives to drive online sales revenue.

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of our eCommerce platform, including website content, product listings, pricing, promotions, and launches.
• Coordinating onsite merchandising, campaigns, and landing pages to support sales and marketing activity.
• Supporting digital marketing initiatives through website updates, banners, product merchandising, and promotional content.
• Monitoring and analysing website performance, customer behaviour, sales, conversion rates, and other key eCommerce metrics.
• Delivering reporting and insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
• Troubleshooting website issues and supporting testing, UAT, and digital projects.
• Working closely with customer service, operations, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless online customer experience.
• Supporting ongoing website and customer experience improvements through data-driven recommendations.

We Are Looking For Someone With:

• Previous experience in an eCommerce, Digital, or Online Trading role.
• Experience working with website content management systems (CMS).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities.
• Experience using Magento, Canva, Figma, and website analytics tools.
• An understanding of UX/UI principles and digital marketing fundamentals.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
