Economic Analyst

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive economic research and analysis to support client strategy and decision-making
• Developing economic models and forecasts to assess market trends, competitive landscapes, and business opportunities
• Analysing macroeconomic and microeconomic data using statistical software and advanced analytical techniques
• Preparing detailed reports and presentations that communicate complex economic findings to clients and internal stakeholders
• Collaborating with senior consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated consulting solutions
• Gathering, organising, and interpreting data from multiple sources including government databases, industry reports, and proprietary research
• Assisting in the development of client proposals and pitches based on economic analysis and market insights
• Supporting project management activities, including timeline coordination and resource allocation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in economic analysis, management consulting, or a related analytical role
• Strong proficiency with statistical software and data analysis tools such as R, Python, Stata, or Excel
• Demonstrated expertise in economic modelling, forecasting, and quantitative research methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex economic concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Solid understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic principles and their practical applications
• Experience working in a consulting environment or managing multiple client projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Preferred: Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Preferred: Knowledge of Indonesian market dynamics and economic conditions
• Preferred: Prior experience with strategic business consulting or market entry analysis
