• Leading a multi-domain project team through all project phases, from first idea to series production
• Close co-operation with our business units and customers to align technical requirements on new products or changes
• Ensure planning and execution of all engineering related tasks along the ZF-CVS product development process (design, validation, FMEA, Design to Cost, gate reviews, roadmaps, ….
• Creating and tracking of project time- and budget plans
• Responsible for meeting project goals in terms of time, cost and quality
• Reporting regularly the project KPI`s and status to engineering management
• Define the validation plan, review and approve the test result
• Problem solving for design review, test failure, field claim
• Process expert to improve supplier production capability including injection, over molding, stamping, press fit pin etc.
• Collaboration with local engineering teams, global ECU housing design teams
• Other tasks arranged by line manager Your profile:
• Degree in engineering, material forming, etc. especially with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics
• Solid experience in complexity ECU housing, connection system, press fit pin design and process
• Experience ECU housing, connection technology test and trouble shooting
• Good command in English (written and verbal)
• Beneficial is to have knowledge in 3D CAD system (Creo), PLM and PTC requirements management
• Beneficial is experience in pneumatic system development, braking, ECAS, AMT development
