Position Identification  Position Title: System Functional Test Engineer  Location: Wu Han

General Description Responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of automated system functional tests to ensure compliance with system requirements and delivery. Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test specifications, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements e.g.

CAN/CANFD/LIN/FlexRay/UDS/NM/Bootloader/E2E/CS.

• Perform system integration, functional, robustness, and release testing for electronic controller products, including ECU, VCU, TCU, and PDCU.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, test benches, and test scripts using CPAL, Python, ECU-TEST, and other test automation tools.
• Analyze test results, perform root cause investigation, and work closely with software, hardware, and system engineering teams to drive issue resolution.
• Ensure requirements traceability and verification coverage throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support customer issue investigations, vehicle integration activities, and product validation during development and production phases.
• Continuously improve test methodologies, automation frameworks, and verification processes to enhance test efficiency, coverage, and product quality. Key Competencies Education:
• B.S Degree in Automotive/Electrical/Electronics/Automation or other Engineering fields, M.S preferred. Experience/Special Skills:
• Hands-on experience in automotive ECU system testing, including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, UDS, NM, Bootloader, E2E, and CS verification.
• Experience in test automation development and maintenance using ECU-TEST, Python, CAPL, or similar automation tools is preferred.
• Experience with requirements-based testing, test coverage analysis, and traceability management is preferred.
• Familiarity with requirements management, defect tracking, and configuration management tools such as Polarion, JIRA, Bitbucket, or equivalent platforms.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new technologies, products, and development processes.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration with global teams and customers.
