eCW-Experienced Front Office/MA-Part Time

A growing neurosurgery private practice is seeking a personable, friendly professional to be the face of our practice! The ideal candidate will have outgoing, superior patient care and service skills, pristine organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude!

Verifiable experience working in healthcare as a receptionist, clerk, front office, or medical assistant is required AND preference will be given to candidates with eCW (eClinicalWorks EHR) experience.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently
• Obtain patient information, verify insurance, and collect copays
• Schedule new patient, follow up, and in-office procedure appointments in an organized, efficient way
• Present patients with paperwork
• Answer telephone calls
• Perform appointment confirmation calls
• Clerical duties such as faxing, scanning, and preparing mailings

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as either healthcare front desk, medical assistant, healthcare secretary, billing role, medical reception required
• Experience verifying insurance preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using EHR systems and phone systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Neat and professional appearance
