EDDA dental assistant

Looking for a professional, energetic expanded function dental assistant for our private general practice in Lexington, Ky. Needed Monday through Thursday and occasional Friday's.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - class I to IV fillings, temporary crowns, coronal polishing, sealants
• Full mouth x-rays and digital scanning.
• In office Cerec and PrimePrint
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take digital radiographs (Dexis)
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, provide patients with instructions for oral care, etc..
• We utilize Dentrix software and Trios scanner- willing to training

Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Spanish Speaking is a plus
• EDDA certification and CPR certified
