EDI-Billing Specialist

I’m partnering with a well-established Chattanooga company to find an EDI & Billing Specialist who can step in and truly own this function.

If you’ve built experience in EDI, billing, customer transactions, reconciliations, or ERP-driven processes and you’re looking for a role where your work actually matters day to day, this could be a strong next move. This position sits at the center of operations, accounting, and customer execution. You’ll be the primary internal resource for EDI, managing daily transaction flow, troubleshooting issues, supporting new customer onboarding, and helping create better, more reliable processes. On top of that, you’ll handle billing, broker commission reporting, bank reconciliations, and related accounting support. This is a great fit for someone who likes structure, problem-solving, and accountability. They need someone who can dig into issues, communicate clearly, and keep things moving without constant hand-holding.

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial support role.

• Hands-on experience with EDI transactions and electronic invoicing workflows.

• Working knowledge of billing statements, collections activity, and account reconciliation practices.

• Proficiency with computerized billing systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and complete follow-up tasks accurately.

• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and deadlines.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal coordination.
