EDI Developer

My client is looking for an experienced EDI Developer to join their team due to growth.

The Developer will be designing, developing, maintaining and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions that enable accurate, secure, and efficient electronic data exchange between internal systems and external business partners.

Working closely with the EDI Project Manager you will take their requirements and provide technical and business solutions to meet user needs.

The role will be one of the first to be based in their UK team and there is opportunity to develop as the company grows.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure Data Factory, have strong EDI mapping skills with experience of EDIFACT or similar.

Skills & experience needed:

• Demonstrable experience delivering EDI or integration solutions in complex integration environments.
• Experience of using Azure Data Factory or similar B2B integration tool
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards and data formats, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files.
• Proficient in EDI mapping and translation, including BizTalk map development, and creating, updating, and maintaining XML/XSLT.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services, including:

• Logic App development

• Integration Accounts and deployment to production

• Partner, agreement, certificate, and schema management

• Azure Blob Storage

• Azure Key Vault

• Application Gateway for AS2 and web services

• Event Grid

• DevOps repositories

• ASE, CPU, and database monitoring

• Strong troubleshooting skills across maps, schemas, Logic Apps, databases, profiles, and connectivity issues.

• Experience creating and following up on Microsoft support tickets.

• Strong database skills, with a solid understanding of relational database structures and query optimization.

• Ability to analyse complex data flows and troubleshoot integration and production issues end-to-end.

The role is hybrid based with 2 days a week in the office in Canary Wharf.
