Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($17 p/hr)

Seeking two candidates for fulltime positions in the following shifts:

· Swing Shift: Sun to Thurs 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

· AM Shift: Mon to Fri 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Wemelco Industries is seeking experienced candidates to join the edibles production line team. The successful candidate will run all aspects of a fully automated Cannabis Edibles production line. Including, but not limited to, feeding raw ingredients into machinery, supervising the various stages of batch production, sugaring, packaging, prepping packaged batches for bulk packaging and warehousing.

General Duties

● Production and Packaging line operation

● Inventory and ordering of bulk chemicals, ingredients, and other materials necessary to production

● Maintaining the set production schedule

● Maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety protocols.

● Ability to adhere to all production SOP’s for a variety of different products

● Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and sanitary food processing work space

● Ability to follow set procedures for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP’s), and emergency response procedures (fire, medical, and theft)

Skills

● Minimum 1 year of experience in edible cannabis or candy production.

● Familiarity with automated production and packaging machinery and systems.

● Ability to work alone and unsupervised

Additional Physical Requirements:

● Moderate physical demands requiring frequent manual lifting/moving of materials weighing up to 55 pounds.

● Work requires frequent standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching and occasional kneeling, and squatting.

● The facility is a manufacturing environment where exposure to moisture, heat, refrigerated areas, noise and moving machinery are frequent during the day.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
