Editing Intern

Job Summary

Executive House is looking for an Editing Intern to support the creation of visual content across podcasts, social media, and events.

You’ll help create short-form videos, social media content, graphics, and event visuals that support the growth of Executive House shows and brand presence.

If you enjoy mixing video editing, design, and social media content, this role is a great opportunity to build real-world media experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit podcast video and audio content for publishing
• Create YouTube Shorts and short-form videos for social media platforms
• Design basic graphics and visual assets for social media posts
• Create event loop videos and visual content used during live events
• Support the creation of social media posts and promotional content
• Add captions, graphics, and visual elements to enhance videos
• Organize raw footage and editing files
• Help maintain editing timelines and content publishing schedules
• Collaborate with the production and social media teams on content needs

Learning Objectives

• Develop foundational skills in video editing for podcasts and digital media production.
• Creating short-form content for social media platforms
• Designing basic graphics and visual assets for brand content

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate (media production, design, communications, marketing, or related field)
• Familiar with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva.
• Creative with strong attention to detail
• Interested in digital media, storytelling, and content creation
• Comfortable managing deadlines and feedback in a collaborative environment

Internship duration: 3 months

Weekly hours: 20 hours a week

Location: On Site, Chicago, IL

Compensation: $15/hr
