Editor / Assistant Editor / Content Editor (Humanities Studies / Geo /Chi Hist)

Responsibilities:

• Editing scripts, preparing artwork briefs, proofreading and any other editorial work based on supervisor’s direction and set schedule
• Liaise with authors and freelancers
• Coordinate with production and marketing departments
• Any other work assigned

Requirements:

• University graduate or above majoring in Humanities, Social Science, Geography, Chinese History or equivalent
• Excellent command in Chinese language and English language and writing skills
• Proficient in MS Office application and computer knowledge
• Good communication and organization skills
• Meticulous to details and hardworking, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Editorial experience in educational publishing is an advantage
• Familiar with local secondary curriculum is preferred
• Familiar with conducting research on historical sources, such as documentary data, photos and cartoons, etc. is a plus for candidates applying for editorial posts for Chinese History
• Freelance / Part-time are welcome
