Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and strategically minded Editor to strengthen and evolve our presence across print and digital educational materials. This role is suited to someone with a strong editorial eye who enjoys refining and developing content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and engagement while bringing subject matter to life for learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and adaptation of English language teaching materials across print and digital formats
• Editorial development of ELT materials across multiple levels and components
• Copyedit and proofread manuscripts, content, and supplementary materials
• Ensure editorial consistency with house style and curriculum requirements
• Liaise with internal teams to keep projects moving forward and help manage the project schedules and contribute to meeting with tight production deadlines and editorial workflows
• Collaborate with design and production throughout the publishing process
• Manage complex localisation projects for international markets
• Ensure editorial quality and pedagogical effectiveness across all materials

Skills & Qualifications

• Significant editorial experience in ELT or educational publishing; specialization in Primary/Secondary Education more than five years
• Degree in English, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Education, Publishing, or a related field
• Postgraduate studies/Master’s Degree desirable
• Excellent command of English; native or bilingual proficiency
• Knowledge in ELT methodology and educational content
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Work Space
• Strong project management, organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail, editorial judgement & confidence working under pressure
• Creativity, adaptability, critical thinking and flexibility
• Communication skills and problem-solving
• Taking initiative and being a team player
