科學教材出版編輯 (Editor/Senior Editor)

Responsibilities:

• Edit, write, proofread and check content including artworks and photos, to ensure language quality and general accuracy for Primary or Secondary Science textbook publication
• Prepare briefs for design, artworks and photos
• Edit content for print and electronic teaching / learning materials
• Liaise with writers and illustrators to develop projects
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by department

Requirements:

• University graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related discipline
• 1-5 years editorial or related experience in Textbook publishing, with experience in Science subjects for Primary or Secondary Schools is distinct advantage
• Familiar with the local Science curriculum and publishing production
• Attention to details
• Good command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input
• Organised and self-motivated
• Work independently under schedule constraints
• Able to motivate others
• Candidate with greater experience will be considered as Project Editor/Senior Editor
• 1 to 2-year renewable contract base
• Fresh graduate is also welcome
