Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines.
• Set up the machine according to drawings, job specifications, and process requirements.
• Perform electrode setting, workpiece alignment, and machine parameter adjustments.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain required quality standards and production targets.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Identify machining defects and report machine/process issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
• Experience as an EDM Operator is preferred; freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
• Knowledge of EDM machine operation and basic machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Good attention to quality and measurements.
