EDM Wire Operator

2nd shift - 3:15pm - 11:45 Monday - Friday - Set up, program, and operate Wire EDM machines to manufacture precision tooling and components. Interpret engineering drawings, prints, and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements. Create, modify, and optimize EDM programs using CAD/CAM or machine based programming. Select appropriate wire, offsets, skim passes, taper controls, and flushing parameters. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate documentation. Troubleshoot wire breaks, taper errors, flushing issues, and surface finish concern. Perform routine EDM machine maintenance (wire, filters, resin, conductivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety rules, quality standards, and policies. Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, and tool room team members.
