Role Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic faculty member specializing in Engineering Drawing and Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) to develop and deliver high-quality educational content for engineering students.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in engineering graphics, practical experience with CAD software, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, structured, and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course content covering engineering graphics, geometrical constructions, scales, and conic sections.
• Teach orthographic, isometric, auxiliary, and sectional projections of points, lines, planes, and solids.
• Explain the development of surfaces, solid visualization, and the conversion of isometric views into orthographic views.
• Demonstrate 2D engineering drawing and drafting techniques using CAD software such as AutoCAD or equivalent tools.
• Prepare video lectures, practical demonstrations, drawing exercises, assignments, and supporting study materials.
• Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to BIS standards, dimensioning rules, and drafting conventions.
• Help students connect theoretical concepts with practical engineering and industry applications.
• Continuously improve course content based on student feedback and learning outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Engineering Drawing, Engineering Graphics, and Computer-Aided Drafting.
• Proficiency in orthographic and isometric projections, sectional views, projections of solids, and surface development.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Ability to interpret and create 2D engineering drawings and visualize 3D objects from 2D views.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing standards, dimensioning, and drafting conventions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach concepts clearly.
• A degree or academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana
