Fractal Education is looking for an Education Director to join our growing team in Mesquite, TX!

This is more than an administrative role. You’ll be the onsite champion for educational excellence, working alongside teachers and center leadership to create high-quality learning experiences for young children.

About the Role

The Education Director (ED) is the senior onsite leader responsible for classroom quality, curriculum implementation, teacher development, and educational performance at the center.

You’ll work side-by-side with the Program Director and teaching team while partnering with Fractal Education’s Regional Academic and Area Directors.

Your goal? Build a culture where excellent teaching, continuous improvement, and professional growth become part of everyday life.

What You’ll Do

• Lead curriculum implementation across classrooms and support TRS 4-star quality standards.
• Observe, assess, coach, and develop teachers through ongoing feedback and mentorship.
• Support teachers with lesson planning, instruction, classroom management, and assessment.
• Identify opportunities for professional growth and lead training and development activities.
• Partner with the Program Director on center priorities, goals, and execution.
• Monitor classroom performance and use data to guide instructional decisions.
• Participate in leadership meetings, ED trainings, and professional development.
• Help implement Fractal Education’s academic systems and best practices.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and leadership.
• Be a positive, inspiring role model for the entire school community.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a strong candidate if you are an experienced early childhood leader who brings both educational expertise and a passion for developing people.

Required:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent education/degree in education or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an onsite early childhood administrator.
• 8+ years of experience working in a Texas-licensed early education center.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum implementation, classroom management, and age-appropriate discipline practices.
• Experience with classroom observations, assessments, teacher coaching, and professional development.
• Knowledge of Texas Rising Star and Minimum Standards
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze student/classroom data and turn insights into action.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Texas Director License preferred.
