Education Documentation & Systems Support Volunteer
About Us: Love Justice International (LJI) is a Christian nonprofit driven by a singular mission: to share the love of Jesus Christ by fighting the world’s greatest injustices. We pursue this calling through two primary efforts—our expanding anti-human trafficking work and the care of orphaned and abandoned children.
We are looking for faithful, compassionate, and mission-driven problem-solvers—people who think deeply about how to fight injustice and share Christ’s love in a broken world. This isn’t just a volunteer opportunity; it’s a calling. If you’re searching for something light or purely task-based, there may be better options elsewhere. But if you’re drawn to work that requires thoughtfulness, follow-through, and faith, we invite you to apply and explore how you can be part of this mission.
Love Justice International has been recognized as a Best Christian Workplace for six consecutive years (2021–2026), most recently achieving the “Flourishing” category—the highest level of organizational health. **What We Offer:**Opportunities to support life-changing work behind the scenes are rare—but at LJI, that is exactly the kind of impact you can have. While this role does not take place on the front lines, it directly strengthens the systems that allow our schools and teams to thrive.
Joining LJI as a volunteer means contributing your skills to meaningful, long-term impact. You will be part of a connected, purpose-driven team committed to excellence, sustainability, and stewarding well what God has entrusted to us.
Position Type: Volunteer Unpaid; Remote (U.S.-Based Preferred)
Estimated Time Commitment: 5–15 hours per week
Optional: One short-term visit to South Asia (as needed, not required)
Program and Position Overview**:**Love Justice International operates a school in South Asia that serves approximately 230 students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. The school is committed to providing a joyful, high-expectations, student-centered education while equipping and supporting national teachers and staff.
As the school grows, so does the need for clear documentation, organized resources, and well-designed systems that support teachers, onboarding, training, and day-to-day operations. This volunteer role exists to help strengthen and sustain that work.
The Education Documentation & Systems Support Volunteer will work closely with school leadership and administrative staff to review existing documentation, organize resources, and help create or refine materials that support teacher training and school systems. While the role is fully remote, there may be an opportunity for one short-term visit to South Asia to deepen understanding and alignment.
The duration of this volunteer opportunity is flexible, but we ask for a minimum commitment of 100 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing existing documentation, guides, and resources related to teaching, training, and school systems
- Organizing and improving shared resources (e.g., Google Drive folders, training materials, onboarding documents)
- Helping create or refine teacher training materials, guides, or internal processes
- Supporting the documentation of effective practices already happening on the ground
- Collaborating with school leadership to prioritize and sequence documentation needs
- Providing administrative and systems support that strengthens long-term sustainability
Qualifications:
- A strong Christian faith and alignment with Love Justice International’s mission and values
- Experience in education, instructional support, training, administration, documentation, or systems work
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Drive, and shared digital workspaces
- A reliable, self-motivated work style and a willingness to learn
- AI Proficiency: Willingness and aptitude to learn to use AI tools to improve your work and the processes you own; existing experience preferred.
Application Process**:**We welcome applications continuously, as we actively seek exceptional candidates for this position. Candidates will submit a letter of interest and CV when they submit their application here. Nominations, inquiries, and questions concerning this search may be directed to [email protected]. Visit the LJI careers page, https://www.lovejustice.ngo/careers, to learn more about our mission, explore FAQs, and see how you can be part of our work.
Please allow us 1–2 weeks to process your application. Thank you for your interest!
