  • Play a key role in the operational delivery of the Certificate of Dermoscopy program while supporting a broader portfolio of online and face-to-face education programs.

Why join us?

About the role

As a key member of the Education Team, you will have primary responsibility for the operational administration of SCCA's Certificate of Dermoscopy program while supporting the broader education portfolio.

Working closely with students and our Education Service Providers (presenters, tutors and markers), you will coordinate course administration, support webinar delivery, maintain education records and systems, monitor learner participation and help ensure an exceptional learning experience.

The role combines education administration, learner support, stakeholder engagement and technology-based support, making it ideal for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and comfortable working with online learning platforms.

The role includes flexible work hours with some participation in weekend and after-hours work needed to support our courses (approximately 5-8 Saturdays/year and some evening work). This work is spread across the Education Team, and the hours are agreed well in advance. Such work is compensated for via additional time off (TOIL) and/or overtime to ensure a positive work life balance.

We are expanding! This newly created role has arisen as part of the growth of our Education Team and an internal promotion opportunity. Comprehensive mentoring, training and support will be provided throughout your first year to help you succeed in the role.

The Position Description (PD) includes more details about the role. Please contact us via email to receive a copy of the PD ([email protected]) or view it here: https://bit.ly/4xyDAtj

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating administration for the Certificate of Dermoscopy course.
  • Supporting webinars, tutorials and other online education activities.
  • Monitoring student progression, course completions and assessment outcomes.
  • Supporting students, educators and contractors throughout the learner journey.
  • Maintaining accurate education records within Moodle and iMIS.
  • Producing reports and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Providing technical support relating to SCCA's education systems and online learning platforms.

About you

You will be an organised and proactive education administration professional who enjoys supporting learners, educators and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Your skills and attributes will include:

  • Experience in education administration, training coordination, student support or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence using learning management systems and other technology platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a small, supportive team.
  • Resilience, adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic hybrid working environment.
  • Ethical and values-based interactions aligned with SCCA's Vision, Mission and Values.
