Educational Officer

The Educational Officer will develop and deliver training, education and awareness sessions that increase understanding of domestic abuse and the range of services provided by Foyle Women’s Aid. The postholder will work with professionals, community organisations, businesses, schools and other stakeholders to improve awareness of support available for women, children and families affected by domestic abuse.

The role will promote understanding of the impact of domestic abuse through education, information sharing and the use of client testimonies, lived experience accounts and survivor stories (with appropriate consent and safeguarding measures) to support learning and engagement.
