Educational Therapist

CollaboratED Learning is committed to empowering students through personalized, one-on-one educational support. A small practice with students in both NYC and LA, we are seeking passionate and experienced educators who are looking for part-time, in-person work for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.

Our students range from preschool to 5th grade and represent a diverse set of abilities and learning profiles, from gifted learners to those with moderate to severe learning differences. This part-time role offers supplementary income for educators who are eager to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized educational plans for students with a variety of learning profiles.
• Administer informal assessments and interpret educational evaluations to tailor support strategies.
• Provide targeted interventions in reading, writing, and mathematics while supporting students in their regular schoolwork.
• Foster executive functioning and study skills, including organization and time management.
• Advocate for students by collaborating with parents, teachers, and school administrators to implement necessary accommodations and support.

Qualifications:

• BA in Education or Special Education. Masters a plus.
• At least one year of classroom teaching experience.
• Orton Gillingham, Wilson, or LMB training preferred.
• Experience working with K-5 students with diverse learning needs.
• Expertise in designing and implementing individualized academic interventions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Educational Therapy certification or working towards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
