Electrical FEA Engineer

Develop and validate high-fidelity electrostatic FEA models for touch-calibration stations using COMSOL Multiphysics. Model probe–DUT capacitive coupling, fringe fields, parasitic capacitance, grounding paths, dielectric stack-ups, and boundary conditions. Perform mesh-convergence, parametric sweep, and DOE studies; extract FOMs including signal strength, spatial uniformity, zone-boundary accuracy, and crosstalk. Correlate simulation results with lab measurements. Requires a B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computational Electromagnetics, or related discipline; 3+ years of electrostatics/capacitive-sensing FEA experience; strong COMSOL and MATLAB skills.

Thermal FEA Engineer

Develop steady-state and transient conduction FEA models of DUTs and thermal characterization fixtures. Analyze thermal paths, sensor-to-sensor resistance, interface/contact resistance, settling behavior, convection/radiation boundaries, and ambient isolation. Extract thermal resistor-network parameters and conduct DOE/Monte Carlo tolerance studies on gaps, insulation, foam/PSA thickness, and contact conditions. Correlate models with water-bath, heat-flux, or phantom-tester data. Requires a B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline; 3+ years of thermal FEA experience with ANSYS, COMSOL, or equivalent.
