EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

1. JOB TITLE: ETP OPERATOR

*JOB SUMMARY:*

Responsible for operating and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure all wastewater is treated as per environmental standards before discharge.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Operate ETP - Screening, Equalization, Aeration, Clarifier, Filtration, Sludge Drying

• Monitor pH, TDS, BOD, COD, DO, MLSS, chemical dosing daily

• Add chemicals - Lime, Alum, Polyelectrolyte, Hypochlorite as per SOP

• Maintain logbooks - Inlet/Outlet parameters, chemical consumption, energy

• Operate pumps, blowers, motors, filter press and other ETP equipment

• Ensure treated water meets NESREA / LASEPA / SON standards

• Carry out preventive maintenance and report breakdowns

• Maintain housekeeping and safety in ETP area - 5S & PPE compliance

• Support during NESREA/LASEPA inspections and audits

*REQUIREMENTS:*

• OND / HND / BSc in Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science

• 1-3 years experience operating ETP in a Factory - FMCG / Food / Pharma / Water / Chemical, Manufacturing

• Knowledge of ETP operations and wastewater parameters

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
