EHS Advisor - German Speaker

EHS Advisor - German Speaking Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Berlin, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Critical Infrastructure team as an EHS Advisor, supporting the delivery of a substantial sized Data Centre in the area.

Your day will include:

• Support the Project Management Team with the day-to-day health and safety activities on site.
• Conduct regular formal site audits & inspections as directed by the Safety Management system.
• Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all employees and contractors.
• Ensure sub-contractor safety documentation is produced and available on site, relevant and in accordance with best practice and current German legislation.
• Advise/assist the Site/Project Management team in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities.
• Assist in incident/accident investigation, reporting and filing.
• Manage the Toolbox Talk schedule for the project, including attendance records.
• Give advice to site management on training requirements for the project.
• Furnish safety reports to head office as required.

About You

• Recognised EHS/Safety Qualification.
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar EHS/Safety role.
• Previous experience on Data Centre projects desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of German health and safety legislation and requirements.
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence safety across a project team.
