The Role

We are looking for a Regional QHSE Manager – APAC to lead, govern and support quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) programs across our Asia-Pacific operations. You will partner with regional and country leadership to embed the NV5 Integrated Management System (IMS), drive consistent compliance, strengthen QHSE culture and reduce organizational risk.

What You'll Do

• Provide regional QHSE leadership and align objectives with corporate strategy across APAC entities and projects.
• Drive consistent adoption of the IMS (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001), with controlled localisation for legal and client requirements.
• Coach and give technical direction to country and project QHSE staff; identify training and competency needs.
• Lead risk management, incident investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective-action closure for serious or recurring events.
• Run a risk-based audit and inspection program (offices, shops, long-term sites, outage and project work).
• Track APAC legal/regulatory requirements, manage client and internal audits, and report QHSE KPIs and trends.
• Support tenders, pre-qualification, project mobilisation and QHSE planning; promote lessons learned across the region.
• Exercise stop-work authority and escalate material risk in line with policy and law.

What You'll Bring

• 8–10+ years of progressive QHSE experience, ideally in engineering, construction, commissioning, testing or inspection services, with regional / multi-country / matrix exposure.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Solid grasp of incident investigation, root-cause analysis, risk assessment, permit-to-work, contractor assurance and environmental controls.
• Professional certification preferred: NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH, MCQI CQP, CSP, CQE or equivalent; Lead/Internal Auditor training desirable.
• Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder-management skills, able to deliver results across cultures, time zones and reporting lines.
• Professional fluency in English; another APAC language is an advantage.
• A practical, action-oriented mindset with sound judgement under pressure.
