EHS Department Head

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

a. Must have taken Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training, Loss Control Management, Safety Program Audit and Health Training for safety aspect. Basic Environment Management Unit Head Training courses and other advance environment training courses for environment.

b. Well-versed in local Health, Environment, Safety Regulations and Good housekeeping and manufacturing practices.

c. Able to perform root cause analysis and provide sound corrective actions.

d. Must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience in environment and safety management.

e. Knowledgeable in wastewater treatment operations and concepts.

f. Familiar with best practices on security protocols of manufacturing industry

g. Knowledgeable in sustainability practices of water and energy conservations

h. Familiar with international Occupational Safety and Health standards, National Fire Protection Association Standards, etc.

i. Good leadership skills

j. Able to collaborate with other department to address issues concerning the department

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Monitors the overall progress of EHS PLC renewal for the covered facilities.

b. Ensures that all regulatory reports and its supporting documents are reviewed to be correct and accurate, and timely prior to submission to the concerned government agency.

c. Initiates the discussion with the cross functional team to correct findings or non-conformance from government-initiated inspections, internal audits, incidents, non-achievement of KPI Targets, and other matters related to EHS, Security and General Services.

d. Monitors the implementation of the corrective action plans for any non-conformances with the any EHS, Security, and General Services Standards.

e. Reviews all training requests, budget requests, and other request for resources to be able to effectively implement EHS, Security and GS Programs for its covered facility.

f. Ensures that all regulatory reports and its supporting documents are reviewed to be correct and accurate prior to submission to the concerned government agency.

g. Ensures all EHS, Security, and General Services programs necessary in the achieve the department’s KPI are implemented in its covered facilities.

h. Participates in the alignment of program on Environment, Safety, Security, and General Services

i. Proposes to the EHS Manager changes to the EHS and GS Programs.

j. Cascades new or revised safety, environment, general services, and security programs to the facility.

k. Facilitates the EHS Monthly committee meetings.

l. Reviews the Incident report and escalate to Immediate head when necessary.

m. Participates actively in the strategic planning of the department.

n. Performs actions necessary to proceed with the set initiatives.

o. Monthly Monitoring of Personnel's developmental Plan

p. Monitors the expenditure of the department in his/her covered facility.

q. Attends the regular meetings set by the plant management to discuss monthly KPI results, issues, and concerns etc.

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month
