The Safety engineer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of occupational health, safety, and environmental (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards. The role exists to proactively identify and reduce workplace risks, promote a strong safety culture, and help ensure that employees, contractors, and operations function safely and sustainably.

Main Accountabilities

• Comply with the company’s safety management system and support the maintenance and effective operation of the system.
• Organize safety risk assessments and hazard identification activities. Conduct on-site safety inspections, help employees and contractors improve risk identification capabilities, and report findings from the site to supervisors to support continuous improvement of on-site safety across all areas.
• Monitor the implementation of safety measures and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in identifying applicable industry laws and regulations and support the factory in implementing regulatory compliance requirements.
• Organize safety training sessions and emergency response drills.
• Be responsible for occupational health management.
• Assist with the management of company fire protection facilities, including tracking and supervising fire system inspection and maintenance results.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Education & Experience:
• Full-time bachelor’s degree or above obtained through a nationally recognized program; majors in Safety, Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• More than 10 years of EHS management experience in multinational or foreign-invested companies.
• Have intermediate certified safety engineer qualification (Registered Safety Engineer).
