What they need
- Respond to, investigate, and report all workplace accidents and injuries, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review and revise Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and work instructions as required.
- Ensure compliance with the company's 5S management practices.
- Be responsible for ensuring the factory's fire safety management and compliance.
- Monitor and review Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) documentation, records, and data.
- Educate, train, supervise, and motivate employees to carry out their work with safety and environmental protection as top priorities, while ensuring compliance with the company's EHS policies and procedures at all organizational levels.
- Monitor all applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements and ensure compliance with relevant government regulations.
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates must have either
- CePSWaM – Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management,
- CePBFO – Certified Environmental Professional in Bag Filter Operation or
- CePSO – Certified Environmental Professional in Scrubber Operation.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH/EHS) in manufacturing industry.
- Familiar with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, particularly the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and the Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (FMA 1967).
