EHS Inspector

Philippine Aurion Solar Technologies Inc. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented EHS Inspector to support our Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, monitor workplace hazards, support emergency preparedness, and ensure compliance with EHS procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular EHS inspections of production and construction areas and identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, work permits, and hazard closure records.
• Provide immediate assistance and emergency response during accidents, incidents, and hazardous situations.
• Assist in occupational health and sanitation-related activities, including facility sanitation permits, food establishment sanitation permits, and annual medical reports.
• Assist EHS Engineers in conducting safety training, contractor safety orientations, PPE training, and emergency drills.
• Support drills and exercises involving chemical spills, fire evacuation, and other emergency scenarios.
• Inspect the proper storage, handling, use, and transportation of chemicals and gases.
• Monitor the proper storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Conduct regular inspections of special equipment, including forklifts, elevators, pressure vessels, lifting equipment, and other safety-critical machinery.
• Monitor and supervise special operations, including electrical work and other high-risk activities, to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
• Perform other EHS-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of EHS/Safety experience is preferred, particularly in the photovoltaic, manufacturing, or chemical industry.
• Fresh graduates with relevant educational background and strong safety knowledge may also be considered.
• Knowledge of occupational safety, environmental management, hazardous chemicals, hazardous waste, and emergency response.
• Ability to identify risks related to mechanical operations, electrical work, hazardous activities, and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of photovoltaic processes or chemical engineering is an advantage.
• Fire Safety-related certification is preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, planning, and execution skills.
• Good documentation and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic workplace applications.
• English or Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site and conduct regular inspections in production and operational areas.
• Must be safety-conscious, physically fit, responsible, and detail-oriented.
