EHS Manager

Role Overview: An experienced Site EHS Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining environmental health and safety programs at a laboratory facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess site EHS programs for risks and compliance gaps
• Lead EHS governance, policy development, and safe work systems
• Serve as Chemical Hygiene Officer and Biosafety Officer; chair the Institutional Biosafety Committee
• Coordinate audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance reporting
• Conduct training needs assessments and deliver EHS training to staff and management

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or safety-related field
• 3-5 years of relevant EHS experience
• Hands-on biosafety experience in laboratory settings
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies and compliance requirements
• Professional certification (CSP, CIH, or equivalent) preferred
• Expertise with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local EHS regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills
