EHS Manager (Facilities Management)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and continuously improve EHS strategies, policies, procedures and management systems in line with business priorities, corporate requirements and applicable legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore EHS regulations and maintain relevant certifications and assurance requirements, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and bizSAFE.
• Lead risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits, incident and near-miss investigations, Permit-to-Work processes, corrective actions and contractor EHS management.
• Establish EHS objectives and KPIs, monitor performance and trends, and drive safety training, awareness programmes, toolbox meetings and emergency drills to strengthen safety culture.
• Oversee the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation and maintenance of offices, warehouses, utilities, building infrastructure and critical facility systems, ensuring statutory inspections and maintenance are completed on schedule.
• Manage facility projects, renovations, vendors, service providers, contracts, budgets and expenditure, while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency, sustainability, energy performance and operational reliability.
• Lead emergency preparedness, response planning, drills and business continuity activities, while coordinating recovery priorities and acting as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, landlords, tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Supervise, coach and develop facilities personnel, allocate work and priorities, and collaborate with Operations, HR, Procurement, Finance and other functions to integrate EHS and facilities requirements into business operations and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain / Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in EHS and facilities management in the logistics / warehousing / manufacturing / industrial environment, which includes experience in a supervisory or managerial level
• Possess knowledge of Singapore WSH, environmental, fire safety and building regulatory requirements, and ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and bizSAFE frameworks.
