EHS Manager/Assistant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, implement and continuously improve Health & Safety (H&S) policies and plan, procedures, and programs in line with safety laws, food manufacturing regulations, local regulations, relevant and company standards for new food factory.
• Ensure environment and safe practices works across all manufacturing activities, including machinery operation, chemical handling, confined spaces, hot works, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor both environment and safety compliance to ensure all activities are in line with relevant laws and regulations
• Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective control measures and lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action tracking.
• Promote safety awareness programs and behavioral-based safety initiatives. Actively support line managers and supervisors in driving safety accountability on manufacturing sites.
• Oversee contractor and visitor safety management within the plant.
• Act as the subject matter expert for safety-related matters internal and external.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. with min. 7-10 years of relevant experience in design and developing as well as implementing policies, procedures and risk management program, preferably within the food manufacturing or food processing industry.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, food industry safety standards, and compliance requirements and possess the Professional Safety Licensed.
• Hands-on experience with food standards and management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant certifications/frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing safety teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skill and able to manage stakeholders internal and external.
• Able to work at Sinsakorn Industrial Estate.
