About the role

Responsible for implementing and monitoring Safety Programs and Regulations at the project site throughout all stages of planning and construction. Ensures that all personnel are properly educated, informed, and compliant with safety practices in performing their respective tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Safety Programs and Regulations at the project site
• Ensure all personnel are properly educated and informed on safety practices
• Identify safety hazards and potential risks
• Conduct safety training, safety programs, corrective and improvement programs
• Prepare safety reports and documentation
• Implement risk control measures

Qualification:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a construction company
• In-depth knowledge of safety programs, workplace hazards, accidental risks, and risk control measures
• Well-versed in safety policies, implementation, hazard identification, and risk analysis
• Skilled in preparing safety reports and documentation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of safety rules, policies, and regulations
• Knowledgeable in computer software applications
• COSH Certified – required
• PCO Certification – an advantage
