EHS Specialist

About the Role:

ReelSafe Safety LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented EHS Specialist to join our team in Burnett, TX. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across job sites and facilities
• Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and lead root cause analysis efforts
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees at all levels
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation including OSHA 300 logs
• Collaborate with management and field teams to promote a strong safety culture
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in an EHS, HSE, or safety specialist role
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Texas state safety and environmental regulations
• Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Strong communication and training skills with the ability to engage diverse teams
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OSHA 30 are a plus
• Proficiency in maintaining safety records and preparing compliance reports
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to continuous safety improvement
