About the role

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Staff to join our team at our facility in Grobogan, Central Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in safeguarding our employees, protecting the environment, and ensuring our operations comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Provide training and awareness programmes to employees on health and safety practices and environmental compliance
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence
• Monitor and maintain records of safety performance, environmental metrics, and compliance documentation
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure the facility meets all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Support the establishment and maintenance of emergency response procedures and evacuation protocols
• Conduct tool box talks and safety briefings to reinforce safe working practices
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health and safety performance
• Maintain and update safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) inventories

What we're looking for

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or related field.

• A recognised qualification or certification in Environmental Health and Safety (such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, or equivalent)

• Proven experience working in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and relevant Indonesian standards

• Experienced in HSE Reporting, documentation, HIRA, JSA, and Work Instructions (WI)

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop

• Certified in General OHS (K3), Fire Safety, First Aid (P3K), or equivalent HSE qualifications

• Fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken)

• Preferably, experience in ISO management systems implementation and maintenance

• Willing to be placed in Grobogan, Central Java
