EHS Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EHS (Early Childhood Education and Child Development) Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children.
• Implement behavior management strategies that promote respectful communication and emotional regulation.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships in supporting each child's development.
• Conduct assessments of child development milestones using standardized testing methods to tailor instruction effectively.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and classroom activities to support ongoing evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications

• CDA
• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
• Prior experience teaching physical education or implementing movement-based activities is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
