EI&C Software Application Engineer

Join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and contribute to the development, integration, and support of critical manufacturing software systems used in highly automated GMP production facilities.

As an EI&C Software Application Engineer, you will work at the intersection of Automation, Manufacturing Systems, and IT/OT Integration, supporting digital manufacturing initiatives and industrial software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain manufacturing software applications
• Support integrations between DCS, MES, historians, databases, and automation systems
• Participate in software testing, commissioning, qualification, and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing system issues in collaboration with production and engineering teams
• Support data exchange and interfaces between OT and IT environments
• Create and maintain engineering and validation documentation in compliance with GMP requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization projects across manufacturing operations

Profile

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP-regulated industries
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation platforms, or industrial software applications
• Experience with SQL and system integrations
• Familiarity with MES, DCS, Historian, or similar manufacturing technologies
• Experience with CSV/CSA, validation activities, or GxP documentation is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent English
