EK Guide

Job Overview

EK is a peer support platform connecting individuals facing life-altering challenges—such as addiction, alcoholism, grief, chronic illness, caregiving, or toxic relationships—with someone who has already successfully walked that road.

That person is a Guide. Not a therapist, not a counselor, not a volunteer. A trained peer with real lived experience, meeting clients on level ground via video, at a rate the Guide sets themselves.

What You’ll Do

• Hold 30- or 60-minute video sessions with clients navigating hardships you have personally survived and overcome.
• Offer non-clinical peer support: Share practical wellness strategies, everyday coping tools, goal planning, and the honest, grounding reassurance that only comes from someone who has "been there".
• Bring your existing community or plug into ours: If you already facilitate groups or support folks informally, bring them to the platform to get paid properly for your time. We handle the scheduling, secure video rooms, payment processing, automated reminders, and no-show protection so you can stop running your practice out of text messages and calendars.
• Control your schedule: Work entirely from home, setting your own hours and availability as much or as little as fits your life.
