Elasticsearch and Observability Engineer

At Hexa, we are looking for an Elasticsearch and Observability Engineer to support the operation, maintenance and deployment of observability solutions across complex multi-platform IT environments, including mainframe, open systems and container platforms.

What you will do

• Support the maintenance, operation and extension of Elastic Stack components, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats and Elastic Agents.
• Execute predefined procedures and runbooks for platform health monitoring, routine checks, alert validation and operational maintenance across production and non-production environments.
• Assist application teams during onboarding to the observability platform, including log collection, basic dashboards, monitoring configuration and alerting setup.
• Participate in release execution, incident support and troubleshooting activities under the guidance of more experienced team members.
• Follow established coding standards, governance practices, documentation guidelines and CI/CD processes.
• Record operational activities, ticket updates and resolution steps with accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with distributed team members and communicate progress, blockers and risks in a clear and timely manner.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience or practical exposure to IT environments, logging, monitoring or operational support.
• Core observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces and golden signals.
• Elastic Stack fundamentals, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats and Elastic Agents.
• Git and basic CI/CD pipeline concepts.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
