Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and personalized care to seniors in a home or community setting. This vital role involves assisting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Monitor residents’ health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
• Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Support residents with mobility using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents in accordance with facility policies
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through active communication, companionship, and engagement in activities

Skills

• Proven experience working with elderly individuals in group home, assisted living, or nursing home settings
• Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
• Familiarity with patient observation techniques, patient monitoring, and care plan implementation
• Ability to perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for residents
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and providing personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism
• Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Certification in CPR and First Aid; knowledge of manual handling, heavy lifting, and patient transfer methods is essential

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
