What they need

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced eLearning Designer & Developer to support the development of engaging digital learning experiences for customers, educators, and partners.

This is a hands-on, independent role where you’ll own the full eLearning development lifecycle — from reviewing source content and SME input through instructional design, development, testing, and LMS-ready delivery.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Learning Global Lead within the Customer Experience unit and collaborate directly with 3D Artists who serve as subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences from existing content, scripts, and SME input.
  • Update and enhance existing learning modules as well as build new modules from scratch.
  • Build interactive courses using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise , incorporating video, audio, graphics, interactions, and assessments.
  • Develop and adapt HTML-based learning components and make minor adjustments where needed.
  • Apply sound instructional and eLearning design principles to structure complex content clearly and effectively.
  • Publish and package learning content for SCORM and LMS delivery .
  • Test courses across devices and browsers and troubleshoot technical or publishing issues.
  • Work closely with the Customer Learning Global Lead, 3D Artists, and other stakeholders to ensure learning quality, technical accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain consistency with existing learning templates, standards, and user experience guidelines.
  • Apply general accessibility best practices to digital learning experiences.
  • Manage your own workload and deliver projects independently against agreed timelines.
  • Provide final source files and reusable assets at the end of the project.

Requirements & Technical Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in eLearning design and development — this is a strict requirement.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to take an eLearning project from source content through to published, LMS-ready delivery.
  • Strong working experience with both Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise — both are required.
  • Basic HTML knowledge and hands-on capability — required , as a significant portion of the learning content is built directly with HTML.
  • Good understanding of SCORM, LMS publishing, testing, and troubleshooting .
  • Ability to translate complex or technical subject matter into clear, engaging, and well-structured digital learning.
  • Experience working with multimedia content, including video, audio, and visual assets.
  • Familiarity with general accessibility best practices for digital learning.
  • CSS and JavaScript knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Experience developing learning for SaaS, software, technical products, or customer education is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and manage projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills when working with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Team & Collaboration

You will report directly to the Customer Learning Global Lead within the Customer Experience organization.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Learning team and have daily direct collaboration with 3D Artists, who serve as subject matter experts , throughout the contract.

Working Arrangement & Contract

  • Remote role based in Bulgaria.
  • The initial and planned project duration is 6 months .
  • The workload has been preliminarily planned around a full-time, 6-month engagement .
  • Part-time arrangements may also be considered. Where a part-time arrangement is agreed, the contract duration may be adjusted to allow sufficient time to complete the assigned project work.
  • The engagement is on a contractor/service agreement basis , not an employment contract.
  • There are currently no plans to convert the role to an employee position .

Compensation

  • €2,000–€2,500 per month , with €2,500 being the maximum available budget.
  • This is the full contractor compensation .
  • Contractors operate as freelancers under a service agreement and do not receive additional employee benefits, paid holidays, sick leave, or allowances .
  • The specific working schedule will be agreed with the contractor and reflected in the service agreement.
