Electric Drive System Modeling Engineer

What To Expect Tesla is seeking a motivated engineer for powertrain system design and optimization. This position is critical to the development of electric powertrain for Tesla’s current and future electric vehicles. This person will be working in the motor research team to continue develop the system optimization strategy and workflow.

• Managing Powertraindesigndatabase,running system sensitivity study What You'll Bring- Degreein Electrical Engineering ora related field, or equivalent experience

• Deep understanding of power flow and energy flow in electric drivetrain

• Experience on utilizing optimization algorithm

• Strong understanding in thermal modeling for electric powertrain system

• Strong Matlab or Python programming skills

• Goodphysical understanding on electrical machineandpower electronic

$112,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
