What they need
- Assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems.
- Perform electrical calculations to support system installations.
- Read and interpret construction drawings to guide installations effectively.
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with the repair of equipment and electrical faults.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Chaparral Insulation Project Manager/Superintendent for installation coordination.
- Document all work performed and provide progress updates to associated parties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Work outdoors in various environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
- Serve in a Superintendent capacity on large projects by overseeing daily field activities, coordinating crews, and ensuring work is executed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Interface with project management, other trades, and client representatives to maintain effective communication and resolve field issues.
- Assist with planning, material coordination, and workforce management to support successful project delivery.
- Provide training as required to craftsmen in the proper installation of heating cable.
- Bi-Lingual is preferred.
- Basic electrical knowledge required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience using handheld electrical meters, hand tools, and power tools effectively and safely.
- Previous experience in a leadership or Superintendent role is preferred.
- Ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple work activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required, including extended durations depending on project needs.
