About Us

We are an established engineering firm seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical & Electronic Engineer to design, develop test and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

The successful candidate will ensure that electrical projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

What you will do

• Responsible for designing, installing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation
• Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and equipment sizing
• Inspect electrical system and identify faults, defects, and safety issues
• Conduct testing and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in electrical/electronic engineering, construction, manufacturing, facilities, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with engineering/design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multi-tasks

Preferred Skills

• Professional engineering certification or registration where applicable
• Experience with LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, protection systems, and control systems

Language Requirements

• Confident communicator with good verbal communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (for local corporate reporting, compliance, and client meetings

Working Conditions

The role may involve office-based engineering work as well as site visits, inspections, installation supervisions, testing, and commissioning. Depending on the industry, occasional travel and work outside normal hours may be required.
