Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to handle E & I activities including installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

The candidate will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure the work is completed safely, correctly and on schedule.

Main Responsibilities

• Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation at site.
• Coordinate installation of panels, MCCs, cable trays, cable ladders and cables.
• Supervise cable pulling, termination, testing and earthing works.
• Supervise installation of instruments, junction boxes and instrument cables.
• Coordinate instrument calibration and loop checking.
• Review cable schedules, instrument index and I/O lists.
• Coordinate PLC, HMI and control system installation and integration.
• Support PLC I/O, interlock, alarm and functional testing.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate E&I works with other disciplines.
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate inspections with the client/consultant and QA/QC team.
• Raise technical queries and RFIs when required.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
• Maintain inspection, testing and commissioning records.
• Support punch-list clearance and final handover.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and as per approved drawings and specifications.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
• Minimum 5-9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Fertilizer or industrial projects.
• Good experience in E&I installation and commissioning.
• Experience with PLC/HMI systems, preferably Siemens.
• Experience in loop checking, PLC I/O testing and commissioning.

Salary - SAR 3000 - 5000 + FAT provided by company.
