Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, and automation activities in compliance with the contracts, project requirements, and QCS 2024 in the most cost-efficient method.

· Awareness of contract and project requirements.

· Prepares the required project electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, and automation documents such as Material Submittals, Method Statement, Inspection Request, clearances, etc. as well as for the general project requirements.

· Coordinates mechanical concerns to the team and external stakeholders upon manager’s confirmation.

· Establishes schedules and methods for providing plant operations and maintenance services; identifies resource needs; reviews need with appropriate management staff; allocates resources accordingly.

· Trouble shooting, issue identification, and resolution particularly with respect to process, operation, and equipment operation.

· Prepares required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

· Partly responsible in implementing HSE requirements.

· Ensures that all discipline milestones/goals/KPIs are achieved within the given timeframe.

· Plans, schedules, and assigns tasks/responsibilities to team and prepare reports relative to the completion of projects.

· Organizes/attends meetings and creates the minutes.

· Carry out other tasks assigned.

Experience: Minimum three (5) years relevant experience in operations and maintenance projects/contracts and wastewater treatment, PTPs, and pumping station.

Well-experienced in preparation of project documents and project management.

Well-versed in various PLC, SCADA systems, programming, and automation.

Competencies: Adept in managing each stage/phase of the project.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in various computer software and applications. Quick decision-making ability.

Organized and excellent time management.

High sense of responsibility and commitment to work. Previous experience with Ashghal project is an advantage.

Education: Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control,

Automation, Electronics, Industrial, or relevant

Others: UPDA-registered / or to obtain this year
